Alex Alpaca and Alfred (who plays in a band) have a great time together. You can also find Alex on the Exotic animals page http://www.sandphiferart.com/drawings-of-animals-real-and-imagined/exotic-animals-frogs-friends/

Using only black an white color pencil, the original Shea the Seahorse is drawn on blue mat board. The print is matted white to match the white features of his delicate face. You can also find him at his new home “Frogs and Friends”: Drawings of Exotic Animals & Frogs and Friends

After many requests I’ve added Thomas Turtle to the Exotic Animals and Frogs & Friends page:

This little rascal is the newest addition to the menagerie. Gino the baby giraffe, with his sweet, slightly mischievous expression, is just irresistible. You can find him and many other drawings on the exotic animals page http://www.sandphiferart.com/drawings-of-animals-real-and-imagined/exotic-animals-frogs-friends/ (medium gray mat)
New to the site is my “Weird Creatures” series. Currently there are 7 weird and wonderful characters to choose from. Like Pace, shown here, they are fantastical, sometime magical, sometimes hilarious.

I drew Pace the meditating Seahorse after my first lesson in transcendental meditation. I’ve never gotten very good at meditating, but drawing is almost as good.

Having drawn seven dogs, I felt that it was time for a cat. To me, the mystery of Celine the cat is largely found in their amazing eyes.
You can also find her here: Celine as she currently hangs out with the dogs.
